Football is indeed the most followed sport worldwide. India, with a population of 1.2 billion still can’t give the same statement for football in the country and India’s position of 104 in the FIFA World Rankings further illustrates the need for an improvement in the development in this sport. However, in the past decade, a lot has been done to increase the popularity of football in the country. The launch of the Indian Super League in 2013 is the biggest example which proved to be a somewhat turning point for Indian football. A considerable amount has been invested into the game which has resulted in the involvement and tie-ups of various international clubs with Indian football clubs. With this in mind, the future of Indian football is slowly going in the right direction.
As an endeavor to promote elite football talents and train players from a young age, the Bharat Army is also supporting the development of football at grassroots level by aiding and supporting ‘Invincibles United’, a local football club from Mumbai. The Invincibles United focuses on nurturing the young talent of India. It is a sports club focusing on the aspects of Sports Outsourcing, Sports Training and Sports Education and the Bharat Army is helping them to propel Football in the country.
Invincibles United started in October 2020 and they have an under 18 team, a senior team and also a women's team.
