Indian bowlers polished off the remaining eight West Indian wickets to set-up a crushing 257-run win over the hosts. Team India is now at the top of the table [120 points] as far as the Test championship is concerned.

Morning Session: Ishant and Jadeja shared a wicket each as Windies finally showed some resistance

Going into the first session on Day 04, the West Indies were dealt with a blow when Darren Bravo left the field due to what was later found due to concussion. The Indian Pacers posed consistent questions to Broaks and Chase outside the off. But the duo dug in with Chase playing soeme delightful strokes, especially against Jadeja.

But just as the score was nearing the 100-run mark, Jadeja rapped Chase in frony of the wickets to give India their first breakthrough of the morning. One wicket led to a couple as Ishant knocked over Hetmayer's stumps with a fullish delivery, one which the latter managed to hit straight to Agarwal at extra-cover.

Jermaine Blackwood, who had replaced Bravo as a concussion substitute, rode his luck. He was dropped early on in the innings by Pant off Jadeja and then had another reprieve when Jadehja got him caught at slips off a no-ball. In between, the right-hander played some delightful strokes making sure the Windies went into lunch at 4-143.

India started with Jadeja and Bumrah after the tea break. Both the bowlers beat the bat a million times before Bumrah finally found Blackwood's edge to end the 61-run 5th wicket partnership.

Shamarh Brooks, on the other hand, continued to build on his innings. The right-hander clipped Bumrah to deep-midwicket to complete his maiden half-century. And, it took an error in judgment coupled with Kohli's brilliant single-handed throw yo end his stay at the crease.

Jadeja had previously got a wicket off a no-ball and he was millimeters away of facing the ignominy of doing it again when he got one to shot off the surface that ended up taking the edge of Hamilton, only for Rahul to complete a simple catch. Rahkeem Cornwall didn't stick around either courtesy a fabulous diving catch by Pant off Shami.

Jason Holder struck some lusty blows in the end against Jadeja but the latter had the last laugh when he knocked his stumps over to help the visitors complete a whitewash across the formats and their eighth consecutive Test series win over the hosts.

Jasprit Bumrah's masterclass on the second day when he schooled the Windies top-order yet again with his craft, sustained pressure and inswingers. The right-hander claimed his second consecutive five-wicket haul and also became the second Indian pacer to claim a Test match hattrick.

Also, not to forget the contribution of Hanuma Vihari. The Andra batsman made full use of his opportunity and compiled a stylish yet gritty ton (maiden) to set-up the game for India. Overall, Vihari scored 238 runs across four innings; eight runs behind table-topper Ajinkya Rahane.

1) The 257-run win at Jamaica against the West Indies means Virat Kohli is statistically the most successful Indian captain with 28 Test wins.

2) The 2-0 series win was Team India's eighth consecutive victory against the Windies; the hosts last defeated India in a Test match was also at Sabina Park way back in 2002.

3) Virat Kohli becomes the first Indian captain to claim series sweep (7-0) against formats outside of India for the second time. Kohli's men had previously swept Sri Lanka 9-0 across formats back in 2017.
